Mount the Fender Original '57/'62 SSS Pre-Wired Pickguard to your Strat and reawaken the Alnico-5-based ghost of the classic Pre-CBS Strats from the end of the late '50s and early '60s. The design of this all-in-one Strat power-up is directly based on the pickups found on genuine antique Strats built in 1963. As such, the coils have been wound using the historically accurate Formvar winding to make sure of that dynamic, gut-punching tone, warm low-range and shimmering high-end, and the poles have been staggered to retain balanced output across all six strings.
